Mountain Highland Games near Atlanta, Georgia on October 21 and 22,
2006. The judges will be Sue Richards and Sharon Knowles.
The weekend will begin with a Friday evening welcome party for our out
of town guests, to get acquainted and answer any last minute questions
before the Games. The Solo Harp categories (Rank Beginner, Novice, Apprentice,
Journeyman, Master) will be held on Saturday, beginning at 10 am.
The Special Categories (Vocal, Spoken Word, Ensemble, Emerging and
Re-emerging forms, Non-graded) will be held on Sunday.
Sue Richards and Sharon Knowles will present a workshop Sunday

bring an extensive depth of experience in both performing and
recording, as well as teaching and adjudicating. Sue is a member of
Ceoltoiri and Ensemble Galilei, and Sharon (originally from Scotland)
is a member of the Scottish Traditional band Fynesound. Together they
form the harp duo Hen.
Journeyman or Masters competitors who wish to compete for the Travel

Stewart, the SHSA Competition Chair, by September 21.
See the scholarship page for more details.
Pre-registration is strongly recommended. The form will be on the
